How far is each stop from the station?
Within a straight-line quarter mile of the Wilshire/Normandie Metro station's main entrance are five businesses that Kobizmap has confirmed as Korean-operated: two banks, an accounting firm, an H Mart and a soon tofu restaurant. A little farther are another accounting office and a second H Mart.

Call the bank branch before you go
Of the banks listed on Kobizmap, the closest to the station is Bank of Hope Wilshire-Harvard, at 3600 Wilshire Blvd, Suite 100-A, Los Angeles, CA 90010; call 213-351-5980. A little farther west, Hanmi Bank Wilshire Hobart is at 3660 Wilshire Blvd, Suite 103. Use Hanmi’s official branch locator for its phone number and hours.
The documents needed to open an account depend on the bank and your situation, and this guide does not list them. When you call, say what you want to do first, such as opening an account, sending money or getting a card. Ask whether the branch handles it, whether you need an appointment and which ID and documents to bring. If you need a Korean-speaking banker, ask whether one is available at the time you plan to visit.

Start your shopping at H Mart LA City Center on 6th Street
Walk up toward 6th Street for H Mart LA City Center, at 3500 W 6th St, Los Angeles, CA 90020; call 213-235-1917. It sells Korean and Asian groceries, produce, meat, seafood and household goods.
H Mart LA Madang, at 621 S Western Ave, is 0.48 miles from the station; call 213-235-9560. Check the hours for both stores on the H Mart store locator.
Decide what you need before calling an accountant
Choi Hong Lee & Kang is at 3435 Wilshire Blvd, Suite 480 (213-365-1700), and Lim + Lim Accountancy is at 3699 Wilshire Blvd, Suite 601 (213-380-4646). Both describe accounting and tax services.
When you first call, say what you need help with, such as a personal tax return, setting up a business or bookkeeping, so the office can route you to the right person. Lunch next to the station: soon tofu
BCD Tofu House on Wilshire is the closest stop to the station, at 3575 Wilshire Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90010; call 213-382-6677. Its official location page lists Sunday to Thursday 7 a.m. to 3 a.m. and Friday and Saturday 7 a.m. to 4 a.m. (checked October 24, 2026). It takes last orders 45 minutes before closing.
Soon tofu stew is the center of the menu, which also has galbi and bibimbap. Because it opens at 7 a.m., it also works early in the day.
